    • We encourage the homeowner to fully participate with every part of the analysis of their home in order for full and complete understanding. In addition, full participation many times leads to diagnosing problems that would be impossible to diagnose without the cooperation of the auditor and homeowner.     • Thermal Imaging Camera analysis inside and outside the home.
    • Computer simulation with certified reports.
    • Blueprint analysis.
    • Blower door with leak detection:
      • includes an assessment on the total size of all your homes leaks.
      • Building codes regulate how many ACH (Air Changes per Hour) a building should have. A detailed NorthWoods Energy Audit will let home owners know exactly how many ACH their home has and if the home owner and occupants are at a health risk
    • Duct blaster if applicable.
    • Whole house inspection with professional recommendations.
    • Appliance analysis with recommendations on safety and energy efficiency problems.
    • Insulation inspection.
    • Discussion on government financial incentives for energy efficiency upgrades.
    • Absolutely no sales. If you have a window contractor come into your house then they will probably tell you that you need new windows to make your home more efficient. If you have a HVAC contractor tell you what you need to do in order to make your home more efficient then they will probably tell you options that only involve HVAC.
